Acceptable Use Policy

This policy is part of the Terms of Service. It exists to protect other websites, the people you contact, search engines and the Service itself.
You may
- Connect and verify sites you own or are authorised to manage, and act on them through the roles you give your people.
- Use the data the Service collects about your sites and their competitors inside your organisation and in reports to your own clients.
- Contact people at other organisations for link building, partnerships and corrections, under the outreach rules below.
You may not
- Connect a site you do not control, or try to verify one by any means other than those the product provides.
- Use the Service to manipulate search engines in ways their guidelines forbid, including buying or selling links, or to harm another site.
- Scrape, resell or redistribute vendor data outside your organisation and your client reporting.
- Probe, overload or circumvent the Service's limits, isolation or security controls, or run automated clients beyond the published API.
- Upload unlawful content or content that infringes others' rights.
Outreach rules
- Only to people who publish contact details for that purpose, or whose sites' public link data shows a genuine relevance, and only after one of your people approves each message.
- Honest subject lines, your real name and postal address, and a working opt-out in every message. No fake replies, no tracking pixels, no bulk import of lists.
- At most three messages to one person, and none after a reply, a bounce or an opt-out. Opt-outs are permanent.
- Contact forms are used only for a message a person approved, never to bypass a site's wishes; a form behind a CAPTCHA is left to a person.
- We pause a mailbox on complaints or high bounce rates and may switch outreach off for an organisation that breaches these rules.
Enforcement
We may suspend features or the organisation for a breach, and will say what the breach was. Report abuse to hello@fikrtna.com.
